The Department of Computer Science at Holy Cross College Agartala(Accredited with NAAC “A+”, Cycle 2) was established in 2023 with the aim of providing quality education and research in the field of computer science. The department offers a three/four-year B.Sc. degree/degree (Honours with Research) under NEP 2020 in Computer Science, which is recognised by Tripura University (A Central University). This course is designed to equip the students with the theoretical and practical knowledge of various aspects of computing, such as programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, networks, artificial intelligence, and software engineering. The department has a team of qualified and experienced faculty members who are actively involved in teaching, research, and consultancy. The department has well-equipped laboratories, a central library, and a computer center to facilitate the learning and research activities of the students and faculty. The department also organizes various academic and co-curricular events, such as educational tours, industry visits, seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and competitions, to enhance the skills and exposure of the students.
