The Election Commission of India launched its Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation program, better known as SVEEP, is the flagship program launched in 2009. Under this Program Electoral Literacy Clubs are opened in various Schools and College who conduct activities throughout the year. Smt. Sharmistha Rakshit, Nodal officer of SVEEP, Holy Cross College was felicitated on 25th January,2021 by the SDM, Mohanpur (Chief Electoral Officer, Mohanpur) for best performance in organizing SVEEP activity in 2021.
