Because Holy Cross College is an English Medium College striving to provide holistic education.

Because there are many students from English medium schools in the state who have limited opportunities after their plus two and because English offers better opportunities to students and opens the doors to be world class professionals.

The College follows the criteria and the policies determined by Tripura University (A Central University), to which it is affiliated.

One could expect academic excellence, all-round development, character formation, proficiency in English and opportunities to grow to be an integrated person.

There is insistence on speaking English in the campus, all-round personality development and decent dress and appearance. They are also expected to care for each other and others less fortunate than themselves.

Community service, debate competitions, speech competitions, film appreciation, sports and voluntary services etc. are the co-.curricular activities held at the College.

Visiting the sick, entertaining, orphans and the aged and helping orphanages and old age homes to develop vegetable gardens and helping them to keep their campuses clean are some of the services done currently.

To help the students, to value and to care for those who are less fortunate than themselves.

Using multimedia presentations and public address system as modern teaching aids, group discussions, seminars, personal assignments and mentoring are the ways of teaching and instruction at the College.

Mentoring is personal attention given to each individual students to guide them in their difficulties, their personal and academic deficiencies, situations and backgrounds so as to help them to become more effective and successful students.

PFI is Parent Faculty Interaction, where the Principal and faculty have opportunities to meet parents and sit with the students and their parents and assist them in performing better.

Yes, the College offers transport facility to students from various hubs in the town to the College campus.

Exceptions are made for accommodation at the present campus. We are in the process of getting hostel facilities for young men and women.

Yes, we do have a decent canteen facility. Which is known as Shalom Food Court.

'Smart' multimedia classrooms with LCD projectors, computers, public address system, comfortable seating arrangements, individual PC's for students, growing library of more than 7,000 books which include rare collections from various parts of the country and abroad on various subjects and disciplines, a large play ground with sports and games facilities.

Parents are always welcome to meet with faculty whenever they wish and the College encourages interactions with parents.

Monthly assignments and class tests are given to the students to encourage them to keep up-to-date with the syllabus.
